Thank you for visiting my blog. I am glad you are here! Have you heard God’s voice on your heart? He is constantly calling each one of us to Him and longs to satisfy our spiritual hunger. God loves each one of us so deeply. His Mercy is so vast. The choice to know and love Him in return, to accept His Mercy, and to walk with Him each day is ours to make.

My search to know God more deeply began in August of 2007. I was searching for purpose in my life. When I finally called for God with a sincere heart, I was both surprised and startled to recognize His Presence there beside me! Looking back, I realize God has been beside me all along, loving and encouraging me. He was simply waiting for me to desire a more personal relationship with Him.

He is beside you now as well.

I have spent my life reading and writing. I love stories because they connect us to one another, enabling us to share in our humanity. My intent here is to share a variety of reflections and stories that reveal the depth of God’s Love – and that of His Son, Jesus – for us.

The Bible tells us God loved the world so much that He sent His only begotten Son to earth, so that we might know Him; and that whoever believes in Jesus will not perish, but will have everlasting life. (John 3: 16)

It is Jesus who leads us most deeply into relationship with God, and with one another. How all of this works together is equally magnificent and simple! So many times, I have walked by the simple things in life, unaware of how much meaning and joy and love reside there.

I hope these stories and reflections bring you joy and peace, and draw all of us closer to God.

Heart and Soul

This blog is dedicated to my husband and to my parents. You have loved me deeply. It is love that gives flight to our dreams.
